Nik Bhatia is the founder of The Bitcoin Layer, a research provider analyzing bitcoin through a global macroeconomic lens. He is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at USC Marshall School of Business, where he teaches separate courses on fixed income and bitcoin. He is author of the #1 bestseller Layered Money: From Gold and Dollars to Bitcoin and Central Bank Digital Currencies. Previously, Nik worked as a US Treasuries trader and strategist. He has a BA in Social Sciences from University of Southern California, a Master in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and is both a CFA and CMT charterholder.
