CEO of TBD, Block
Mike is the CEO of TBD, Block's newest business unit that is focused on making the decentralized financial world accessible – for everyone. Mike sits on Block’s executive team and has held a number of leadership positions at Cash App. He was part of the core team that brought bitcoin to Cash App, and was responsible for setting up Square Crypto, now Spiral, an open source, independent initiative focused on making bitcoin the world’s preferred currency. Prior to Block, he was a principal software engineer and project lead at Red Hat where he enabled developers and enterprises to build more simply, openly, and cost-effectively than on proprietary SOA platforms.
