Stacy Herbert is the Director of the National Bitcoin Office of El Salvador. She is co-presenter, along with Max Keiser, of Orange Pill, a weekly bitcoin podcast out of Bitcoin Country, El Salvador. She is one of the first bitcoin content creators to extensively cover bitcoin from early 2011. Her background is in film and television development and production and international feature film sales. Stacy is a co-founder of Heisenberg Capital, an early investor in both bitcoin and in many bitcoin related startups, including Kraken, Bitpay, Shapeshift, Unocoin, Bitpesa, Bitso, Bitfinex, Circle, Uphold, Casa and more. Her film and television experience saw her work in development for Michael Phillips, the Oscar-winning producer of The Sting, Taxi Driver and Close Encounters, in international film distribution with Capitol Films (including projects featuring Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ewan McGregor) as well as television production with USA Network, Channel Four (UK), BBC3, BBCWorld, Aljazeera English and RT.
